Pacto Océanico
An idea that overgrew its objectives to transform into a movement.
The “Pacto Océanico” (“Oceanic Pact”) aims to bring together chefs and local fishermen, promoting the market of non-typical species, transcending the most demanded species; expanding the possibilities of income to fishermen, and supply to restaurants.
The challenge was to find a strategy to consolidate all the efforts this entities were making, and to simplify communication so as to make it more digestible to the community. Working to spread and encourage small-scale fishing as the most sustainable way of fishing. Promoting the condition improvements of the resource capture, and eating habits in the early childhood with a demo pilot in a local school.
